just like on skis, you lean and shift your weight and the skis pivot sideways the exact same motion as on skis

the chair comes right underneath the seat of the bike...and you just sit on the seat of the bike. Watch some youtube vids of the SMX and on some you can see how it is done! Its really not that hard
